Product Description
Laiwei manufactures custom helical gears for compact gearboxes and mechanical drive assemblies. Each gear is produced according to the customer’s drawing, CAD model or approved sample. Tooth geometry, bore and mounting features can be specified for the available gearbox space and the intended mating gear.
A helical gear cannot be selected by outside diameter alone. The module, number of teeth, pressure angle, helix angle and helix direction must work with the mating gear and shaft arrangement. Helical gears also generate axial thrust during operation, which the gearbox bearings and housing must accommodate. Material, heat treatment and inspection requirements are confirmed after the complete design is reviewed.
